Detail: The Historic West End Market, Charlotte's first "urban" market will operate each Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., beginning August 29, 2009.  The market is a culturally diverse outdoor art gallery and market place that will feature a variety of quality inter-cultural offerings (products, produce, food and the arts).  Local artist, farmers, merchants, restaurant owners and non-profit organizations are invited to showcase their art and products.  Spaces are free of charge, subject to the market model and availability.  Applicants may apply for the entire season or attend individual market dates.  E-mail historicwestendmarket@gmail.com or call 704.358.4221 for an application.
